Student Profile - Linda Varley-England
I am presently a practicing Holistic Therapist, providing services such as Reflexology, Swedish massage, Aromatherapy, Trigger Point massage & Indian Head Massage. I also provide a Threading, Eyelash Extensions and Tanning beauty service. My background history is in nursing, where I practiced for 23 years before having to retire due to a disability.
I have recently undertaken further training in Swedish Massage and Indian Head Massage and a few others, all completed with Isis. The move to practice is deliberate to remove some of the stress from my working life, and to practice as an individual, working under my own instruction. I have recently set up my own limited company, offering holistic therapies and hopefully on completion of a Hot Stone Massage course I shall deliver this therapy to clients as well.
The long term doesn’t involve a huge empire, but to provide a valued and professional service to those who wish to experience it. I am not an overly ambitious person, but I do like to do things to a high standard with enthusiasm and to the best of my ability. My client base is steadily growing and becoming known and I am pleased to provide a service to various groups of people including Brides-to-be and clients who are suffering with illnesses such as cancer. Isis has provided me with the confidence and the skills based knowledge to provide a high standard in those therapies provided.

Jemma Kidd Make-Up School - 2nd visit
Jemma Kidd Make-Up School in central London invited our students to return for another masterclass in make-up application techniques, current trend and catwalk make-up. We were invited by David Horn, professional make-up artist, to share his knowledge and expertise. Our Level 2 Beauty Specialist, Cosmetic Make-up and Level 3 Advanced Beauty Therapy students spent 3 hours watching demonstrations and learning tips and techniques to help them improve their own skills and also had the opportunity to purchase products, make-up and brushes from the school.
