This is the second stage in becoming a fully qualified Beauty Therapist. A requirement for those students wanting a career in the beauty industry and providing the level of skills required by Spas and Health clubs and most salons. Course content
• Hygiene, Health and Safety
• Relevant Anatomy and Physiology
• Contra-indication/Contra-action/Client care
• Body massage (this unit is completed during Swedish massage course, see dates)
• Mechanical and electrical treatments for the head and neck
• Mechanical and electrical treatments for the limbs and trunk
• Dietary and exercise advice
• Application of infra-red treatment
• Body wrapping and body masks
• Case studies
